The key to optimizing these newer systems is to follow discrete pretreatment processes which may involve steps like cleaning, abrasive blasting, chem film, anodizing, phosphating, passivation, or masking even before the first coat of paint is applied.

The use of wash primer, primer, and sophisticated topcoat systems per the OEM’s specifications and manufacturer’s strict instructions ensure performance and durability.
